Tilted Women Festival: Pop up Podcasting workshop

Pop up Podcasting with Shey Hargreaves
Saturday 8th March 2 – 4pm (also on Sunday 9th)
Come and join Shey in the Green Room to chat about writing for audio, explore how to record podcasts from scratch, and ponder on where to begin with your ideas for a fresh, original podcast or audio drama. Shey will also be recording snippets of comments and conversation with Tilted Women artists and attendees over the course of the weekend to put together into an audio collage of the day. Swing by and get involved if you like, or just have a poke around and a chinwag.
Bio
Shey Hargreaves is a writer and editor based in Norwich. Shey writes scripts for film, theatre and audio, and edits everything from novels to advertising copy. She’ll even proofread a birthday card in exchange for a packet of crisps. Shey’s last podcast, Badger Watching, was broadcast on BBC Radio Norfolk and is still available on Spotify. The podcast is about two siblings going for walks during lockdown in 2020, and was recorded on location in various wild places around Norfolk. Shey was one of Norwich Castle’s artists in residence for 2021, for which she wrote a live theatre piece about nurses caring for patients with leprosy in Norwich’s medieval hospitals.
