Tilted Women Festival: Let’s play! Collage, Magic and Transformation workshop

Let’s play! Collage, Magic and Transformation
with poet and collage artist Helen Ivory
Sunday 9th March 10.30am – 12.30pm
This workshop is about play, chance, magical connections, and through juxtaposition, making new meanings from found materials.
Collage has long been associated with the idea of ‘serious play’ – that is play with purpose and intentionally. That doesn’t mean to say that collage is not fun; it is also liberating, transformative, therapeutic, feminist and punk. Let’s get summoning the collage muse and do some cutting and sticking!
Materials will be supplied but you are welcome to bring your own ephemera to cut up, and your preferred scissors and glue.
