Jasmine Myra is a saxophonist and composer based in London. Originally part of the bustling, creative, cross-genre music scene in Leeds, Jasmine has surrounded herself with some of the best young talent from the city. Her original instrumental music has a euphoric and uplifting sound, influenced by artists as diverse as Kenny Wheeler, Bonobo, Ólafur Arnalds and Moses Sumney. Jasmine Myra’s sophomore album Rising builds on the success of her breakthrough album Horizons to deliver a major statement from one of UK Jazz’s rising stars.

Freya Roy

Steadily making her mark on the nu-jazz and alternative soul scene, 2025 signals an exciting year for British-German artist and producer Freya Roy. Signifying the new era, this year will see the release of new music shaped by the last 5 years spent producing and collaborating with some of the finest independent artists across the UK. Following on from the success of her 2022 EP ‘For Who I Have Become’ – a transformative EP symbolising Freya navigating health struggles, and rebuilding herself as an artist. Her engrossing vocals and production has captured the attention of 6 Music’s Gilles Peterson – declaring “Street-soul is back” – she’s also gained recognition from British Vogue, COLORS, CLASH Magazine, Jamz Supernova on BBC 1Xtra, Jamie Cullum, and Radio 1 where she was selected as Gemma Bradley’s ‘Top Tip’. She has taken the stage at Latitude festival with a stunning performance on the BBC Music Introducing stage, and performed a Selector Radio Session presented by Jamz Supernova for The British Council, recorded at the infamous Premises Studios in London (home to Nina Simone, FKA Twigs and Amy Winehouse).

Amy Nomvula

With a career that works across the spectrum of sound – DJ’ing, production, broadcasting – Amy Nomvula has a record collection that travels from the classics to the abstract.

As part of Norwich Jazz Festival Amy will be selecting & sharing some of the jazz that has helped shape her.
