+ Maple Ward

Musician, composer, writer, photographer and filmmaker Barry Adamson tours new album Cut To Black.

Having released nine studio albums, including the 1992 Mercury Music Prize nominated Soul Murder, 1996’s Oedipus Schmoedipus, and Know Where To Run, which was in part inspired by a US tour, back playing with Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds after 23 years, Adamson’s talents are as much demand by new generations of artists as he was after his first solo release, with collaborations in recent years across a variety of art forms, including an Olivier Award winning ballet performance by Sylvie Guillem and the Ballet Boyz scored by Adamson.

Maple Ward

With a voice that carries the weight of experience beyond her years, Maple Ward crafts songs that delve into the depths of human emotion. Her lyrical themes explore love, loss and growth with raw vulnerability. Maple has taken her acoustic folk sound across East Anglia, playing slots at Latitude and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. Maple’s honest storytelling is showcased in her debut E.P., ‘Power to Grow,’ which was commended by BBC Introducing.
