Afiya joined the NAC team in 2021 after moving to Norwich from London, and has since been captivated by the thriving arts scene in the city. Outside of work she is song writing and attempting to improve on the guitar!

Afiya will oversee and administrate Norwich Arts Centre’s young talent development work ‘Young Visionaries’ in conjunction with Young Norfolk Arts Trust.  The role will support young people’s cultural development across a range of performance-based art forms such as spoken word, performance art, storytelling and new music to develop the voices of our young creators of the future!

Most likely place you’ll find her:  At a rehearsal studio somewhere or at The Bicycle Shop.
