Young Norwich Creative Awards 2024

The Young Norwich Creative Awards is a programme of awards for creatives aged 16–25 in Norwich celebrating original work in collaboration with the National Centre for Writing, The Garage, The Forum, the Norwich Freeman’s Charity, Young Norfolk Arts and Norwich University of the Arts. Supported by Creative UEA, Theatre Royal, Anguish’s Educational Foundation and Norwich City Council.

​The first year of the Young Norwich Creative Awards in 2023 was a huge success, attracting nearly 200 entries from 16-25-year-olds living, working or studying in Norwich.

This year we’re adding 3 new awards in Film, Digital Arts, Performance, Music, Fashion & Textiles, Visual Art, Writing and Freemen’s offering a total of 8 prizes, worth over £8,000.   Each award winner will receive £1000 cash and a year’s mentoring from a major Norwich Arts Organisation.

We hosted the Young Norwich Creative Awards at Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday 3 July where the prizes were handed out. Congratulations to everyone that took part!
