NAC work experience with Lia and Michelle

“We are Lia and Michelle, and we did a 3-week work experience at the incredible Norwich Arts Centre. Our time here is something we will both always remember.

Getting the opportunity to travel to England, visit Norwich and see its beautiful lanes is a highlight, we couldn’t be more grateful for. It is incredible to see the small shops and the lovely people who live and work here.

Especially the people of NAC are the most welcoming and open people we met. Something we can’t stop thinking about is the way, they managed to bring art in a completely different way in to our lives.

However, the artists we met during our visit were also fascinating personalities. We were able to get to know them better and experience the magic of their art from setup to performance. And this experience, as well as the good conversations we had with them and how nice they were, will remain in our memories forever.

As Michelle was particularly impressed by one Artist, the highlight for her was when Flo Perlin signed a vinyl for her. Now she can take all the memories of that evening back to Germany with her.
