NAC Homecoming

in

Following the Government announcement of 22 February 2021 we are making plans to be open with restrictions after 17 May 2021 and can’t wait to get some intimate live gigs back on this May and June.

We’re kicking off with a series of Homecoming Spring Weekenders featuring some local favourite bands, comedians and performances from the best queer and drag acts.  Most of these events have now sold out but you can watch them live (except for Cabaret Liberté) from the comfort of your home on our new NAC Home Service Broadcasting channel on youtube HERE

Our building has gone through a huge transformation over the last two years following our Arts Council Grant of 500k and we have never been more ready to welcome you back into the building!

Thank you for all your understanding and support over the last year and we look forward to opening up safely in May. For information on our Covid safety  measures we will have in place please see our COVID secure – visiting safely page.

See you soon!

The above gallery shows some of the improvements we have made since January 2019.  The hall has had a complete redecoration and we have installed a new lighting rig, PA,  projector and screen. The windows have been revealed for the first time in 40 years with bespoke wooden frames, double glazing and electric black out blinds.

We have completely refurbished the bar including a drop down access point, restored all of the original parquet flooring throughout the building and incorporated a pop up bar and seating / standing area in the foyer.

The toilets have been fully refurbished and we have added two brand new gender neutral toilets and an access toilet.
