Celebrating Our Gold Achievement on Norfolk Carbon Charter

We are thrilled to announce that we have retained our prestigious Gold Level on the Norfolk Carbon Charter! This accolade recognises our commitment to monitoring and reducing carbon, and it reflects our ongoing efforts to improve sustainability.

Following Norwich Arts Centre’s 2nd assessment in July 2024, the Carbon Charter Panel has again approved Norwich Arts Centre’s accreditation at Gold Level.

The Gold Charter is only awarded to organisations deemed to be exemplifying best practice in terms of demonstrating significant reductions in carbon emissions and championing the environmental agenda.
It is intended to provide public recognition of this vital step to the shared goal of creating the greenest county.

The Panel told us that they were impressed with many aspects of Norwich Arts Centre’s environmental values – highlighting the large reductions achieved since the base year as well as the way we share the sustainability message.
