With a degree in photography she has an eye for imagery and creative projects and has been involved with darkroom tuition, Clutter City DIY makers market, NAC exhibitions and Women of the World Festival alongside her role at NAC.
Top 3 favourite NAC gigs:
A Hawk & A Hacksaw (June 2009)
This was the first time I’d seen this Albuquerque Folk duo live and it was musical love at first sight. Jeremy Barnes had his one-man band set-up with drums, accordion and cow bell and I’d never seen such beautifully captivating violin played by Heather Trost.
Ibibio Sound Machine(Feb 2015 & Oct 2019)
Electronic Afro-Funk, a perfect mix. I absolutely adored the energy and positivity that radiated out of the church from Eno Williams. She is one of my all-time favourite live performers.
Mercury Rev (June 2016)
Indie legends in Norwich!? This was a bit of an emotional ‘meet your musical heroes’ night for me. Mercury Rev playing a Glastonbury warm-up on a hot Summer’s eve was dreamy and I’ve never seen the hall so brightly lit for the finale, The Dark is Rising, it was magical.
Most likely place you’ll find her: Out and about with a camera and her kids in a woodland or on a beach.
