Truly Wild Stories @ Whitlingham Country Park

This is a ‘Norwich Arts Centre supports’ event at Whitlingham Country Park, Whitlingham Lane, Norwich, NR14 8TR
Come down to the woods with TSL and let’s get back to our roots with stories around the campfire.
TSL is delighted to be partnering with Whitlingham Country Park to bring you an evening of Truly Wild Stories.
True Stories Live is a lively, moving and unpredictable event where people tell true stories about their lives in front of a warm, supportive audience. There is no audition process or strict set of criteria – you just have to have a story to tell, based loosely on the set theme.
Our speakers come from a wide range of different backgrounds. If you perform regularly in another context, you’re welcome.
If you haven’t been on a stage since that incident in primary school, you are also very welcome. And if sharing your story isn’t for you, come down and join our fast-growing audience.
Want to share your story? Send your idea to truestorieslive@gmail.com
This is an outdoor event in the woodland area of the Park with a fire pit and some seating on logs and benches. Please dress appropriately for the time of year, day and weather.
Do bring camping chairs and anything you need to ensure that you are sitting comfortably. The ground is uneven and the light level will be low by the end of the night, so do bring a torch.
You are very welcome to bring your own refreshments too as the cafe will be closed.
The loos in the Flint Barn car park will remain open for the evening and normal car parking charges will apply. There is ample parking for bicycles.
Wheelchair access is available via the meadow gate.
