Tilted Women Textile Banner Workshop Part 2

Join Dr Jane Hattrick at this second banner making workshop where we will return to stitching the names and lives of our chosen Tilted Women across the history of Norfolk. We will also learn how to piece together a simple log cabin quilt block by hand; fabric squares, strips, scissors and thread will be provided. You don’t have to have attended the first workshop to attend the second or be a proficient stitcher! Help is provided and stitches taught; ideas for women to include in the banner welcomed.
Fabric donations: If you can, please also bring along any scraps and strips of red cotton fabric – plain or patterned – where the main colour is any shade of red, to incorporate into our log cabin blocks.
