Tilted Perspectives: A Pop-Up Writing Experience at the Tilted Women Festival
In the midst of festival energy, join Shauna at our pop-up writing station.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or haven’t picked up a pen since school, this is your invitation to pause, reflect, and create.
Here you’ll find:
Guided writing prompts to spark your creativity
A collective tapestry that grows with each contribution
A judgment-free space to explore your experiences
Quick writing exercises (5 minutes) or deeper dives (15 minutes) – you choose!
Opportunities to connect with other writers and festival-goers
No writing experience necessary. All voices welcome.
Join the conversation. Tilt the narrative.
Shauna Madhavan worked at UNHCR and national institutions for many years, helping refugees and migrants tell their stories to access international protection, healthcare, accommodation, and education. She has since returned to her first love – writing – and is a writers’ coach based in Norwich. Shauna believes that our stories are the original magic. She runs workshops and writing programs in which she teaches writers how to connect with their true, creative selves and write stories with the specific intention of solving problems, making sense of life’s threshold moments, and navigating change.
