UK Folk-Grunge pioneers Takeda (Drongo Records) release the first single “Lion’s Den” from their upcoming second album.

Years in a doomsday cult coloured the imagery of singer and songwriter Josh Harrison – Takeda’s first album documenting the process of tearing himself away from his past.

Takeda’s new single Lion’s Den documents the scars and anger left behind afterwards.

From the Bert Jansch influenced fingerpicked guitar to the crushingly heavy metal-core breakdown, Takeda forge a new path marrying authentic British and American folk songs, sounds and techniques with heavy rock, metal and grunge in a way that has genuinely not been heard before.
