Round Midnight presents Yetii
+ support
Yetii are an acoustic piano trio from Bristol playing a mix of original compositions and their arrangements of popular tunes. Their album “Inner Worlds” has been released to widespread critical acclaim including from BBC Radio 3, JazzFM, Jazzwise, and All About Jazz.
Alex Veitch – piano, compositions
Ashley John Long – double bass
Alex Goodyear – drums
The trio combines flowing melodies with expansive group improvisations, interlocking grooves and evolving soundscapes. Yetii have built their following through a sold-out monthly residency in Bristol over the last 5 years, including collaborations with Parliamentary Award winner Arun Ghosh, Edition’s Ant Law, and Mercury award nominee Laura Jurd.
They went on to play their concert hall debut to a sold out 400-strong crowd in Bristol in early 2025, supported The Bad Plus on their recent UK tour, and look forward to their biggest tour to date in support of “Inner Worlds”!
For fans of EST, The Bad Plus, and Fergus McCreadie.
