(NOT THE STORY) …MORNING GLORY?
‘Not The Story’ aim is to give fellow Oasis fans an evening of the bands biggest hits, sing-along anthems with a few carefully chosen deeper cuts thrown in for good measure. Formed in late 2022, the band have taken the local circuit by storm, with some biblical performances across Norfolk. Always eager to celebrate significant anniversaries in Oasis history, 2024 looks set to be an exciting year as we look back (not in anger) 30 years back to 1994.
COMMON PEOPLE
The 90s is back – and COMMON PEOPLE – the Britpop, dance and indie extravaganza, is determined to do all it can to bring the party to the masses. Born out of a shared love for music from the era, COMMON PEOPLE (aka Dave and Jon) have been hosting shows around the East of England for the past six years, receiving rapturous praise and building up a real community bonded by the same passion. This culminated in a show-stopping Latitude Festival 2023 four-hour show, attended by thousands of people straight after Pulp’s headline set. That was the second year in a row that Common People have gone down a storm at the festival – and now they are looking to bring their show to other festivals around the country. What makes Common People so special is not only their choice of songs, but the way their love for the era comes across on stage. Expect swagger, expect joy, expect crazy dancers and so much more. So, if you think your festival crowd would love to swagger to Oasis, singalong to Blur, shake their hips to Pulp or lose it to the Chemical Brothers, then this deep dive into the ’90s guitar music is unmissable.
