National Youth Jazz Orchestra present The Fire Next Time! A Tribute To James Baldwin

Join NYJO as they honour acclaimed novelist, poet, essayist, playwright and activist James Baldwin (1924–1987). Featuring new jazz compositions inspired by his life and influences and incorporating Baldwin’s words as lyrics. With band leader Peter Edwards, curator & lead vocalist Lucy-Anne Daniels, joined by singer-songwriter Akin Soul and gospel singer Rhianna Frimpong,  along with 15 of the next generation of jazz musicians.
