Green Shoots presents Corinne Le Quéré
In conversation with Steve Waters
Join us for an evening with Corinne Le Quéré exploring how fixing climate change may not be as difficult as we thought. Corinne is Royal Society Research Professor of Climate Change Science at the University of East Anglia. Her research has helped explain how climate change affects the land and ocean carbon sinks and identify the key drivers of CO₂ emissions.
She’s also a leading figure in informing governmental responses to climate change, as a founding president of France’s High council on climate (2018-2024) and a member of the UK Climate Change Committee for a decade (stepping down in May 2026). She directed the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (2011-2018), instigated the annual publication of the Global Carbon Project, as part of the Global Carbon Project in 2004 and was author of the 3rd, 4th and 5th assessment reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
The evening will be hosted by Norwich Arts Centre Board Member Professor Steve Waters.
