Warm Winter Footwear Urgently Needed!

WARM WINTER FOOTWEAR COLLECTION

We have teamed up with Norwich City of Sanctuary,  New Routes Integration and City College Norwich to help them appeal for Winter shoes and boots.

All donations will be given to local refugee charity, New Routes Integration, to meet a demand for warm shoes and boots this winter.

Urgently needed – please donate good quality, nearly new footwear to Norwich Arts Centre box office on Saturday 9th December between 10-3pm

Please – no worn-out, broken footwear.

Let’s see how many pairs we can collect in just one day!

“Norwich’s community of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants try to get by in the cost-of-living crisis on top of the restrictive conditions they live under. Many have not experienced UK winter before, and arrived with little to no clothing or appropriate footwear at all. Please help us to keep our new community members warm and healthy this winter by redistributing any underused footwear in your household…, your parents’ house, your friend’s house, your school etc…

New routes will put them to good use, by those most in need, via our ‘Free Shop’ where our participants can take whatever clothing, toys, and small homeware items they need for everyday life, for free. Thank You so much! ”  Alaine Mukene (New Routes Integration, Development Coordinator).
