Writer, broadcaster and incontinent controversialist Will Self returns to Norwich to read from his memoir ‘Will’, and discuss his life as a drug addict between the ages of 17 and 26.
Self’s memoir is all warts – rather than warts-and-all, and throughout this revelatory evening in his company, Self will probe not just the nature of drug addiction, but the cultural legacy of the 1960s and 70s, the current parlous state of our politics, the death of humour, the super-heated troposphere, and, why it is that in 2020 British dogs received more Valentines Day cards than humans.
Be prepared to be amused, outraged and consoled in equal measures. (That’s thirds.)
