Judy’s career dates back to a North London folk group she led called Judy & the Folkmen.
She was invited to join Fairport Convention as their first singer in 1967, recording such favourites as One Sure Thing and Time Will Show The Wiser.
After Fairport and some early work with Giles Giles & Fripp, she became half of the highly collectable Trader Horne.
More recent years have seen her enjoy a major renaissance with a series of critically acclaimed solo albums, with Talking With Strangers and Flow And Change being the most recent.
Judy is currently playing her distinctive brand of progressive folk and emotional ballads with a group of musicians who have strong local connections, including Norfolk based singer song-writer and producer, Alistair Murphy aka ‘The Curator’
