Wednesday 29th February-Saturday 10th March
11am-4pm Monday-Saturday, CAFE GALLERY
An exhibition of fashion photographs by Emma Jarvis:
At 17 years old this is my very first exhibition and therefore First Impressions seems an appropriate name. As a young amateur photographer I have been studying A level photography over the past year and have begun to specialise in fashion, editorial and surreal images. The exhibition itself looks at various characters and mind sets, looking at schizophrenia, innocence and craziness. Relating back to the title the photos represent the different impressions that the characters create and the various ways different types of people perceive the world.
“Emma’s photographs were stunning. Her technical ability and her imagination in creating her compositions produced a collection of really engaging pictures. It was great to see the Arts Centre and Creative Arts East involved in a project that gives talented young people such as Emma an opportunity to show their work.”
