Confluence is a new project bringing together piano improvisation and multi-media visual arts to create performance pieces that aim to take audiences on a visual and auditory in-the-moment experience.
Drawing initial inspiration from the waterways and coastlines of the artists’ East Anglian homes the project takes on board impressionistic and post-impressionistic approaches both visually and sonically to create a contemporary and immersive space that aims to communicate and reflect the natural world and our intimate, mythological and vital relationship to water.
