Join the NAC Volunteers Education Team
Firmly established in the heart of Norwich’s cultural community, NAC plays a key role in the delivery of a programme of live music, theatre, live art, comedy, live literature, new media and photography twinned with a commitment to creating opportunities for the development of new talent .
We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist with our educational activities for upcoming Family Days in Autumn 2013.
Devoted exclusively to families, our NAC Family Days aim to increase participation and engagement with the arts with a programme of live performance and workshops that will inspire, excite and challenge children, young people and adults.
Role: NAC is recruiting two volunteers to run children’s drop-in workshops and usher at Family Day events. Volunteers will need to be available for at least the two programmed autumn events, Space Race on Monday 28th October (1-5pm) and Luna on Sunday 24th November (10am-4pm), and sign a contract committing to those dates.
Ideally, the volunteers will have an interest in continuing this activity, and will also be available to volunteer in 2014.
Volunteers will be required to have a free DBS check, and will need to be available on 2nd-3rd September to complete the forms. Experience of working with children is useful, but not essential. This position is open to anyone over 18 years.
Please apply by Monday 26 August with a c.v and a completed application form to Kelly Robb – Kelly[at]norwichartscentre.co.uk
