Sargasso Trio resolve incompatibles and contradictions. They’re a trio of four people, they play a mix of folk, electro and calypso, (folypso anyone?). In their live shows they swap instruments as often as they swap genres and you’ll be smiling with tears in your eyes. Their first album, Burnin’ Burnin’ Burnin’ was released on Brooklyn indie Boy Scout.
This time they’re going homemade, releasing their second album, Get To Grips on their own Science and Nature label (the very first copies will be available to buy at the gig). Get yourself a pint and a pina colada and check ‘em out.
