Morning session
10.30am – 1.00pm

Introduction

Reminder of Photoshop user interface – Palettes, History, Toolbox, moving around screen, etc.

Demo of simple editing adjustments – Levels, colour balance, contrast and tone, etc.

Students to follow simple exercise on their own or using tutor’s supplied images

Demo of further technique – blur/sharpen, colour > mono conversions, simple selections

Lunch break
1.00 – 1.30pm

Afternoon session
1.30pm – 4.00pm

Recap and revision of morning’s activities.

Demo of more advanced technique – Layers, blending modes, some filters

Open workshop devoted to more individual attention to student’s needs

Save work, summarise and recap.

Ends: 4.00pm
