Olympians are four strapping young men from Norwich who play exhilarating sing-along math pop. Risen from the ashes of a more punnily named former incarnation, they are now Daniel (guitar keyboard), Christopher (bass), Edward (drums) and Benjamin (guitar, keyboard and trumpet). They all sing, as much as possible.
Although proud of the twee heritage of Norfolk, and gripped by the tight-jeaned 80s indie-disco in such abundance at the moment, Olympians are athletically ploughing their own furrow, never shying away from erratic song arrangements or complex playing. Most importantly though, they always manage to keep a grasp of triumphant and engaging melodic pop songs.
They are champions.
