Her recently released album FOLLY received four stars in Q and Uncut magazines and was described by the Times as being “very English, very unusual, and proof that if you want to make art, you just have to ignore debilitating forces and get on with it. Mary Hampton’s Folly shows that it will always be possible to make challenging, original music in one way or another”.
