What a difference a year can make. Twelve months ago, Heather Peace was driving herself around the country performing her gorgeous songs to just a handful of people. But these people spread the word through social networks that the Lip Service actress was doing something very special on stage, and they returned to more shows, bringing friends, who then brought more friends. This led to Heather’s first proper UK tour, a handful of successful festival performances and the kind of active online following that many signed artists can only dream of.
2012 looks set to be the biggest year for Heather yet. Her debut studio album Fairytales is due for release this spring (produced by the Oscar-nominated Nigel Wright), followed by a UK tour.
This month Heather is performing a couple of intimate pre-tour warm up shows that will include the songs forming the tracklist of Fairytales.
