Headway 2011

6-11 May 2011, cafe gallery

Norwich Arts Centre is proud to present a variety of artwork by the clients of Headway Norfolk and Waveney:

“Sometimes I feel like my head is full of sand but there isn’t any room for a bucket and spade.” S.P – Headway Client

A brain injury can happen in seconds but the effects can last a lifetime. ……

Stories in Art: Headway 2011 showcases the work of clients at Headway Norfolk and Waveney. It is timed to coincide with Action for Brain Injury Week 9th -15th May to raise awareness of the scope of brain injury and its often devastating effects.

Headway Norfolk and Waveney helps brain injury survivors and those affected by conditions such as stroke, meningitis, encephalitis and tumour to come to terms with their new circumstances, re-integrate into family and community life, and maximise their opportunities and choices.
