OPEN Norwich

Are you 15 to 18? WOW Norwich needs you!

Are you 15 to 18, interested in the arts and gender equality? Passionate about making a change? If so, we want to hear from you!

WOW Norwich is inviting young people aged 15-18 who are interested in creativity, festivals and activism to apply to be part of the WOWsers programme at the WOW festival, coming to OPEN in Norwich from 27 – 29 April 2018.

About the WOWsers programme

The WOWsers programme is an opportunity for ten young people to create part of the festival (e.g. a talk, piece of drama, interviews, a film, etc.) to be presented at WOW Norwich. WOWsers (the young people) will meet every week after school (term-time only) from w/c Feb 19th, until after the festival in April, to discuss ideas and collectively develop a project that will be showcased during the festival. WOWsers will also help to shape and inform the programme for the WOW Schools Day on Friday 27th April.

WOW Norwich

2018 is the centenary of female suffrage in the UK. Southbank Centre is marking this milestone with WOW Spirit, a partnership between Southbank Centre’s WOW – Women of the World festival and Spirit of 2012, who are funding the project. Working with local people in each location, we are developing and producing nine WOW festivals in five cities across the UK, coming to OPEN in Norwich from 27 – 29 April 2018.
