Digital SLR Shooting Day NEXT STEPS

The digital image workflow from idea to print – commissioning, shooting, processing and online printing.

Go out and about with NAC photography tutor Mark Wernham with an assignment to fulfil.

Mark will set the assignment and then will accompany the group to two locations (in Norwich city centre) and help participants to achieve the shot they are trying to get.

Mark will be on hand to advise about technical handling of the camera, and also to make suggestions about composition.

The last part of the day will be in the Media Lab where you will edit your day’s shoot and select one image for processing with Mark’s help.

The images will then be uploaded to an online photo processing service and everyone will be sent an 8×10 glossy print of their work.

Participants will need to bring their digital SLR camera, and the cables and manual too if possible (though not essential). All are welcome, from beginners to people who have been on Mark’s courses in the past.

Please note, most courses require a minimum of four participants to run. If we do not receive enough bookings the course will be cancelled a few days before it is due to start, and your money will be refunded. Refunds cannot otherwise be given unless the course has a waiting list and your place can be filled.
